Jean & Mike Do The New York Times Crossword
Friday, October 25, 2024 - Any crossword with TENOUTOFTEN in the grid deserves, ... wait for it, ... a TENOUTOFTEN 😀
This was a debut crossword by Alex Murphy, and a fine debut it was - with a large-ish number of challenging clues, exactly what you'd expect and hope for in a Friday NYTimes puzzle. Beyond those covered in today's puzzle, we would like to give a shoutout to 16A, Cello parts are written in it, BASSCLEF (not, as we first suspected, CRAYONS); 9D, Indy label, STP (ah, that Indy); and 8D, Flake, BAIL (ok, where's the OED when we need it ...).
Also in today's episode, it's Fun Fact Friday™️, and we have a tasty treat just for you.
